Scheduling Your First Appointment

Since no referral is necessary, your first appointment (consultation) can be scheduled either by you or your General Dentist. A letter will be sent to you welcoming you into the practice and requesting that you complete a medical history form before your appointment - this will save time at your consultation appointment. Upon arrival to the office, simply “check in” on the computer at the front desk and give the receptionist your completed medical history form and panorex x-ray. The panorex x-ray is necessary for Dr. Ghilzon to do an accurate diagnosis. If your General Dentist has not provided you with a recent panorex x-ray, one will be taken at our office.

You will then be taken to a consultation room where you will meet Dr. Ghilzon and you will receive an oral examination. He will discuss how you feel about your teeth and about orthodontics. Possible solutions to your dental problem will be discussed. There is no discomfort or pain involved in this appointment.

There will be a fee for the consultation and the panorex x-ray. We will accept payment the day of the consultation by cash, cheque, Visa, Mastercard or Interac Direct Payment. Dental insurance form will be issued upon payment which you will have to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.
